Painted Accent Wall Impact

Like bold colors but want to keep things neutral for the sake of resale? Bold paint choices aren't the best option if you plan to put your home on the market in the foreseeable future.

One of my favorite techniques to explore is to implement a primarily neutral paint pallet for your home with a few exciting accent walls. This technique is an excellent solution for adding interest and personality to your home without getting carried away. A great trick is to pull a color from a cherished piece of art in a room and apply it to the wall as I have done in this entryway. It gives the impression that you have found the perfect piece of art for your space! Accenting with paint colors can also be taken to another level with accenting areas other than a simple wall as I have done in this modern kitchen with the peacock blue adding interest to the back wall and stairway area.
